CalmTogether Is Not a Crisis or Emergency Service
At CalmTogether, we provide compassionate, trauma‑informed wellbeing support in a calm, structured and relational way. Our sessions are planned, consistent and focused on helping you build safety, resilience and emotional regulation over time.
Because of the nature of our work, we want to be clear that CalmTogether is not a crisis or emergency mental health service.
We are unable to offer urgent, same‑day or out‑of‑hours support.
But if you’re struggling right now, reaching out to a support service or someone you trust could really help. There are people and services out there ready to listen, understand, and support you through difficult moments.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, unsafe, or are worried that you might be in immediate danger, you deserve the right help quickly. Please reach out to services that are fully equipped to respond in a crisis.
If You Need Immediate Help, Please Contact:
- NHS 111 – for urgent mental health advice or access to your local crisis team
- 999 – if you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm
- Samaritans: 116 123 – free, confidential support 24/7
- Shout: Text ‘SHOUT’ to 85258 – confidential crisis text support
- Your GP or local NHS mental health crisis service
These services are designed to keep you safe and offer rapid, appropriate care during moments of crisis.
