About Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a gentle, evidence-based approach that uses focused attention and deep relaxation to help create positive change. In this natural, trance-like state, the mind becomes more open to new perspectives, healthier habits, and solutions that may feel harder to access in everyday life. Hypnotherapy can support people in managing anxiety, stress, low confidence, unwanted behaviours, sleep difficulties, emotional challenges, and much more. By working with both the conscious and subconscious mind, it helps individuals break old patterns and move toward lasting wellbeing.

About Me

My name is Deborah Foster, and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist dedicated to helping children, young people, and adults feel more confident, calm, and empowered in their everyday lives. I hold a BSc in Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and a Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Over the last 17 years, I have worked closely with children, young people, and their families across a range of settings, offering compassionate, person-centred support.

My approach is grounded in warmth, respect, and a belief that everyone has the capacity for positive change. I create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore challenges, understand themselves more deeply, and develop the tools they need to move forward.
